  1. A while back, I added a Unifi Beacon HD to my Ubiquiti-powered network, to cover a weak spot. Other than a controller upgrade, it was easy to set up. It was a bit expensive, though. It’s been running for ~2 months, and I forgot it’s there. No more weak spot. Magic! Worth it.

      I can no longer recommend this. It worked great for the first few months. Now it just randomly disconnects from the network and requires a reset and reprovision to get it back. It's a huge pain, especially for an expensive piece of gear.
