  1. I resisted ad blockers for a *very* long time, but we collectively let the outhouse that the web has become, get tipped over, so now it’s really the only way to go. Increasingly, I’m seeing transactions quietly (no notification) fail because of blocked scum. I don’t try twice.

      I suspect my point was lost in my provocative illustration… Let me try again: As a web developer, if you don’t account for failure (browser, blocker, network, proxy, anything), you’re losing customers. (Plus filling up your page with 60 blockable things is asking for failure.)
