grmpyprogrammer cxj I don’t know of such a guide, but one thing that might give you some relief is that you can (and I do) run per-app stuff in distinct nix-shells, which don’t trample on anything else, so you don't have to worrry about a blow-up (you can keep your Homebrew setup in the meantime).
