    grhmc FWIW, I’ve done this many times with my regular sous vide machine. Ice bath, set to 0°C (it won’t chill, but it won’t heat), and recirculate. Works great for thawing foods, too (cold water, recirculation; it’s like the running cold water method, but without trickling water).
