  1. The number of times I’ve had to enter my local wifi password just to do a clean install of macOS Monterey *FROM A USB DRIVE* is truly disturbing.

      I made the mistake of erasing my hard drive so I could do an actually clean install. It’s now doing a network OS install of Catalina (2 major versions old) so I can enter an admin password so I can run the secure recovery utility so I can tell it to allow install from USB. 🙄🙄🙄
