    wimgtr Maybe I’ll add it to the pile of things I should write about. (-: Short version: (extended) RAM accessed over a serial bus on ESP32, so it’s very slow. Modifying strings in [Micro]Python leads to reallocation (assumed slow; no good profiling tools). coates/1485436151812997130
