      1. I repeatedly can’t recall which state is “closed” vs “open” for switches in Swift Playgrounds. This ambiguous nomenclature is an unnecessary barrier to learning. Really frustrating. Went back and found the “spec”, but still… closed switches are on, in electronics.

      I’ll try to remember that it works like it was designed by a francophone. “Close the lights” means turn them off.

    Also… switch is a control statement in Swift. You’d think maybe they’d avoid that particular pitfall for the target audience of “people who have never coded anything before”…
