      1. Software industry: Sure okay, we concede that our software would be BETTER if we used the platform’s actual GUI toolkit, but if we use a webview thing, we can make software that works good-enough cross-platform! Perfect is the enemy of good, y’know! Same software industry:

      This “software” (for lack of a better term) doesn’t even go to the trouble of honouring system-wide keyboard shortcuts like cmd-v to paste (but ctrl-v works). Also, I paid them extra money for this because they didn’t include the full hardware-specific software with the hardware.
