  1. I have an inherent reaction to people getting time zones wrong (saying EST when you mean EDT, GMT instead of UTC (even when the math works out the same), etc.)… …but what *really* gets under my skin is when financial services communications use “USD” when they mean “CAD”. 😬

      I tried to reply to the email to let them know they have a bug. I got an automated response that told me to contact customer service. Pretty sure I’m talking to one of those intentionally-slow-to-respond bots, now. More companies need to put “customer dread” into their KPIs.

        Generic botlike responses, interspersed with a Zendesk markup/filter/escaping bug. That’s it. I’m going to go do some manual labour for the rest of the day. Everyone else have a good Friday. (-:
