Remember when UI/UX designers prioritized controls that were in the user’s best interest instead of trying to push the user to do an action that boosts the software/service’s engagement metrics? That was cool.
Here’s what I mean. I have one Twitter list. This is the UI where I read this one list. Nearly the whole screen is trying to get me to do another action. (I could pin the list, sure, but I have one list, so the UI is working against me until I have an actual need for pins.)
